What is Broadway Sitters?
ABroadway Sitters provides on­-call and limited child care services to families in the Peninsula. After registering with us, make a request and we will set you up with a highly qualified, pre­-screened sitter.

Does Broadway Sitters screen sitters?
AYes, each applicant is thoroughly screened to make sure you will be getting a reliable, safe, and experienced sitter. We do reference and background checks which includes driving and criminal records. Broadway Sitters are live scan fingerprinted, CPR Certified, TB negative, and have up-­to-­date vaccinations.

What are the fees associated with Broadway Sitters?
ABroadway Sitters charges $21 for each request made or an $90 monthly membership (date nights only). This membership covers all requests made during that month. The $90 monthly membership is not applicable for a temporary nanny replacement requests.

Can I call the sitter directly?
AEach request should be done through Broadway Sitters. If you like a specific sitter, please let us know in advance as specific sitters may not be available if request is done on short notice.

Can I hire a Broadway Sitter caregiver ?
AYes, you may hire a sitter, but please be aware that Broadway Sitters charges a finding fee.  For up to 24 hours a week, the part time placement fee: $500. From 25 hrs and up a week, the full time Placement fee: $1000.

What if I no longer require a membership?
ABroadway Sitters membership is month to month membership, therefore we do not bill you for consecutive months. Please note that your billing date is the day you open your account.

How can I cancel my request after I already paid the service?
ACancellations must be made 48 hours in advance to avoid the minimum 4 hour rate from being billed, in addition to the booking fee.
